Jen’s Story

Ambo, Ethiopia - July '08

I have a passion for clean water projects and sustainable aid.

The “bookmarks” section on my computer is full of organizations, news articles, books, videos, and ways to get involved in various projects around the globe. I can’t keep it organized any longer. It is a mish-mash of everything and with my return trip to Ethiopia to assist with a clean water project pending, I wanted to have an avenue to share these “bookmarks” and my passions with you.

This blog is my adventure. For me to learn more about sustainable aid, clean water, and what it means for me to serve others. Please join me with a conversation, a comment, or a critique.

“It is from them that I gained the confidence and sense of possibility that sustained me. They allowed me to believe we could – and therefore must – create a world in which every person on the planet has access to the resources needed to shape their own lives. For this is where dignity starts. Not only for the very poor, but for all of us.”
